Mirabhai builds sets around groove and bounce, held together by percussion and basslines with real weight behind them. Funk, house, hip-hop, R&B, UK garage, Afrobeats, baile funk and techno all pass through her sets, but she treats them as material to combine rather than boxes to stay inside. Transitions are where her personality comes through most: playful, sometimes a little chaotic, always aimed at keeping the floor moving. She's part of the Vienna collective Soularium and one half of the duo Bass2Besties, and that sense of community runs through her approach to playing out. Expect a set that bounces between styles without ever losing its footing.
