Mija is an American DJ and producer based in Berlin, known for her playful yet forward-thinking take on hardgroove and techno. A multidisciplinary and fiercely independent artist, her career has always been defined by experimentation and a refusal to stay in one lane. Her recent releases, including Summer Groove and the Soft Groove EP, highlight her signature style - blending house, techno and funk into groove-heavy, high-BPM club tracks. Drawing from disco and classic house as well as the faster, rave-driven sounds she grew up with, Mija taps into the current hardgroove revival while keeping her sound personal and fluid. Beyond her own productions, she runs the community-driven label Never B Alone, where music is selected collectively by artists. It’s a natural extension of her DIY ethos, reflecting her commitment to collaboration, independence and pushing electronic music forward on her own terms.
