The Rosengarten goes phone-free

This year, we're introducing something new at Paradies Garten, and we think it's long overdue.

The Rosengarten will be a no-photo, no-video dancefloor. You're welcome to have your phone with you, but we ask that you keep it in your pocket while you're inside. Anyone filming or photographing will be asked to step off the floor.

Why we're doing this

The Rosengarten is our most intimate stage. Small, close and intense, the kind of space where the energy between the DJ and the crowd becomes something tangible. That only works when everyone in the room is fully present.

The moment phones come out, something changes. People start performing rather than feeling. Watching rather than being. A screen between you and the music creates distance, even if it's only a few centimetres. In a space as tight and charged as the Rosengarten, that distance matters.

This isn't about rules for the sake of rules. It's about protecting something that's genuinely hard to create and easy to lose.

You're covered

You don't need to document this one. We have a media team on site who will capture everything worth capturing, properly, with the right equipment, without interrupting the moment for anyone around them.

What you'll take home from the Rosengarten isn't something a video can hold anyway. It's the kind of thing that lives in the body for a while after, and then slowly becomes a memory. That's the part we're trying to protect.

The ask

Leave the phone in your pocket. Be in the room. That's the whole idea
