Hot weekend ahead: here's how we're keeping things cool

The forecast is clear: this weekend at Schloss Prugg is going to be warm. We've been preparing for it, and we want you to feel confident heading into the festival. Here's everything we've put in place across the site.

On the festival grounds

  • Misting cannons and cooling fans are installed at both the Castle Stage and the Forest Stage: the two largest open-air areas on the site. The Orbit Stage is fully surrounded by a circular misting pipe system, keeping the temperature down on what is already the most intense dancefloor at the festival.
  • Free water stations are available across the grounds. Bring a water bottle and use them throughout the day - staying hydrated in this heat is not optional.
  • At the main bar, a cooling mist system runs continuously. Because the best drink tastes better when you're not melting.

Rest, shade and support

  • An additional shade tent has been set up at the water area, a good place to slow down, take a breath and recharge between sets.
  • The Erste Bank Recharge Zone offers shade, a cooling mist system and free water. It's designed exactly for moments like this: somewhere to pause, recover and head back in feeling better than when you left.
  • The Wiener Städtische Versicherung awareness area also has shade and free water available throughout the weekend. If you or someone around you needs support, this is also the place to go.

A few things you can do

We've covered as much ground as we can. The rest is straightforward: drink water before you feel thirsty, apply sunscreen before you feel the burn, and find shade when your body is asking for it. The festival has enough to offer in the cooler corners of the site, you don't have to be in the sun the whole time.

If someone around you isn't feeling well, alert one of our Angels of Paradise (recognisable by their pink vests) or any member of our team on site.
