Demuja grew up in Salzburg with a decade of drumming behind him before he ever touched a DJ setup. That rhythmic foundation is still audible - in the way his sets breathe, build and release. Based in Austria, he has spent the better part of two decades touring across 38 countries, releasing on Nervous Records, Shall Not Fade and Freerange, and running his own imprint MUJA since 2016. His 2020 LP Atlantic Avenue drew praise from peers including The Blessed Madonna. The sound sits somewhere between disco warmth, house groove and techno precision - soulful without being soft, technical without losing the body.
