In cooperation with Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) we guarantee the most sustainable arrival and departure possible – luggage service from the train station to the campsite included
In order to make your arrival and departure from the Vienna metropolitan area as environmentally friendly as possible, ÖBB will provide additional trains to and from Bruck an der Leitha on the festival weekend. This brings us another step closer to our declared goal of becoming Austria’s most sustainable festival.
With up to four connections per hour, you can get from Vienna directly to the center of Bruck an der Leitha in less than half an hour, and from there you can reach the festival grounds on foot in a short time. In cooperation with the festival, ÖBB offers a luggage service in the form of a festival buggy at the train station in Bruck an der Leitha, which visitors can use to transport their camping equipment the last few meters to the camping sites without stress.
In order to ensure an environmentally friendly departure by train also after the end of the main acts, the Paradies Garten NightLiner will run from Bruck to Wien Hbf without stopover during the night from Saturday to Sunday (at 01:00 and 01:45) and Sunday to Monday (at 22:40 and 23:40). These additional connections are available to all festival visitors of the Paradies Garten Festival free of charge. Thus, the visitors of the Paradies Garten-Festival only pay the ticket for the outward journey and save 50 percent of the travel costs.
With the support of ÖBB as the main partner in our Green Mobility action plan, we aim to reduce the number of visitors arriving by car to below 40 percent, thus reducing the festival’s carbon footprint by a good tenth. The reduction in noise in Bruck an der Leitha and the resulting less disruption for local residents are further positive side effects.
